As many of you know, our Blue Ryan storefront is located in the lovely town of Denison, TX which I also happen to live in! This week on the blog, I’ll be bringing you along for a weekend day in my life. Keep reading to find out what makes this place so great to call both work and home!
Morning
A Saturday morning in Denison feels straight out of a magazine! I start off the day by grabbing a coffee at CJ’s Cafe and head to the Farmers Market. There are so many great vendors there but I typically head straight for the honey, jelly, and veggies!
Midday
After all that shopping at the Farmers Market, I’m usually super hungry so I make a stop by Cafe BlackBird for lunch. I also love a good burger so Watson’s Drive In is also a great option.
Afternoon
Once I’m done with lunch, I keep the fun going by stopping at some of my favorite Denison shops, Rae Of Sunshine and ZigZag Galleries. Rae of Sunshine is amazing for all things candles, (she even has a candle bar!) and I love ZigZag Galleries’ hat bar - SO much fun.
Around this time, I’m usually in the mood for a sweet treat so I head over to Hey Sugar Candy Store. They have just about every sweet treat you can imagine. I love ice cream, so that’s always my go-to!
Night
After a Saturday full of activities, I go to dinner at Picante Taco. Mexican food has always been a favorite of mine - I love a good marg and queso! Lastly, after dinner, I usually go and grab an evening cocktail or glass of wine at 1880 Ice House.
